Doctor Who and Peaky Blinders in ground breaking virtual reality

We have the pleasure of working with Maze Theory, a restless team of digital creatives breaking boundaries in VR, AR and immersive gaming. Glint have helped them launch virtual reality game Doctor Who: The Edge of Time (VR) and mobile found-phone game Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins, as well as handle the PR running up to the launch of VR game Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom

We worked with the team to help develop, create and share dynamic assets, drawing on the lore from these iconic properties, finding creative ways to help generate news, features and reviews. From the use of talent to exploiting the well-known (and loved!) aspects of the show to connect with media audiences.

Throughout various campaign beats and announcements, the games and the studio have also broken boundaries in PR coverage! Achieving in excess of 1000 pieces, and featured in VentureBeat, Forbes, TechRadar, Games Industry, Eurogamer, IGN, VR Focus, The Radio Times, The Guardian, The Metro and many more!

Most importantly, the studio is praised and recognised for its high level of creativity, and ground-breaking projects. We’ve been delighted to be on the journey with them.

Maze Theory

“I was introduced to Charlotte and Glint, and we hit it off straight away. Glint has supported Maze Theory on an ongoing basis throughout the last four years, including handling the launches of IP games for Doctor Who (VR, mobile and flatscreen) and announcements for Peaky Blinders, the studio’s investment and its Audiences of the Future funding. In every campaign we achieved coverage way beyond our expectations. They are strategic, quick thinking and get to the nub of the story for journalists and media. Which in turn delivers great results. We are delighted to continue working with Glint as we grow.”
