Cartoon Network Anti-Bullying
During our founder’s time at Warner Media, bullying was identified as one of the biggest challenges facing kids across the world. The EMEA PR team (which she was leading at the time) developed and established the campaign Cartoon Buddy Network with the call to action ‘be a buddy, not a bully’.
Cartoon Network partnered with Childline and enlisted celebrities including Tinie Tempah and Tom Daley to create an impactful and heartfelt PR story. Assets included short films with talent, a microsite, animated shorts as well as practical help and support via the charity. The campaign was rolled out in multiple territories across EMEA.
In total there were 97 pieces of UK coverage with a reach of 16.4 million. Coverage included ES Magazine, The One Show, Press Association and First News
The Public Service Announcement was nominated for a BAFTA
